As is obvious by these lab results, the products we use become a part of our biology. Unfortunately, these chemicals are harmful to the human body. Although it is impossible to reduce our contact with many of these chemicals, there are ways for us to reduce our risk of exposure. For instance, abstaining from the use of make-ups, and reducing the amount of use of shampoos and conditioners, may help to reduce one's risk of exposure to toxic chemicals.
Hi Samuel,
ReplyDeleteI also feel very discouraged. It seems like exposure is unavoidable, even if you take precautions to limit your contact to toxins and chemicals. As mentioned previously, there is also significant financial resources needed to make these changes which makes it even more difficult.
I totally agree with you that it is almost impossible to protect all toxins from my body. However, we can try to decrease the amount of toxicity that we get. It is good idea that we can control the use of cosmetics or shampoos. I heard about “No-shampoo cleansing”. I know it doesn’t sound clean, but it will keep clean and healthy on the scalp eventually. Not everyone has to do this way, but at least, we can try to see if that works for me.
